I don't mind if you make a cake

With the mud down by the lake

And serve a giant slab to cousin Keith

And I don't mind if you run around

In circles on the playground

But turn the tap off when you brush your teeth

And I don't mind if you eat a peach

While we're sitting at the beach

And all the juice goes dribbling down your lap

And I don't mind in the summer heat

If a popsicle is what you eat

But when you brush your teeth turn off the tap

Here's how it's done

Once you start to brush, don't let the water rush

Turn the faucet off, no need to waste

And when the brushing's done, well then let the water run

But just enough to rinse away the paste

Mother Nature thanks you for your conservation, kid
