Symbiosis, what a wonderful word

Reminds me of the story of the flower and the bird

I am a ruby-throated hummingbird and I love you

Cause you help me when I feed

Yeah, all the nectar that I guzzle is directly from your muzzle

Oh you give me what I need

I am a trumpet creeper flower, red and tubular

And you also meet my needs

When you come and drink my nectar

You become a pollen vector

And you help me to make seeds

And though the leaves may fall

I am a crocodile sliding through a slimy swamp

And I'm glad that we are kin

Because you eat the parasites

Like the ticks and fleas and mites

That are crawling on my skin

I am a type of birdie known as an Egyptian Plover

And I'm glad to watch your back

Cause all the bugs and flies that otherwise would compromise

Your health become my tasty snack
