Said goodbye with the method of loci

Went back to all the places we lived

There were surprisingly few

Almost all of this life

Was spent inside of these rooms

Spent too much energy

Searching for complexity

That was already in you

You don't need to search or pursue

Everything inside you moves

All those who saw it for themselves

Took it to the grave

And the secret died with them

But that's okay

Cause the truth can be misleading

And we might lose all of our focus

If we become too conscious of our breathing

Worried that I might get stuck

In this awful stuff that's covers us up

Such that we become

Only what we're doing later

Instead of looking down to see

The organism sitting there barely doing anything

Incoming traffic provides

The city's decent disguise

Both parties truly believe

The other side is the bad guy

I wanna leave that behind

And get close to your horizon

Before the light diffuses and everything gets quiet

We're gonna see some magic for ourselves

And take it to the grave

The secrets will die with us
