Where do I go from here

How do I find the strength to carry on

When Beriah's left his Lord, and now He's gone

Out of this promised land

Didn't he know that when he he'd leave the faith

He'd also lose my hand

If only he knew

That in trying to escape his cage

He threw away the key

And now the only way is onward

And I can't undo the past

Can I sing with a new melody

And make something that lasts

That she moves on from here

She runs to God, who's always faithful

Who finally gives her strength to carry on

Into uncharted lands

On a ship that's never sinking

Since its built by God's own hand

And from her line a savior would come to set us free

To guide us to Jehovah

And stand through uncertainty

So when her questions linger

And she knows not where to go

She puts her trust in Yahweh, and prays that her descendants only know

If only they'd believe

That instead of battling alone

They'll fight on bended knee

They'll have questions, they'll want answers

They'll seek healing for their soul

But will their questions turn to broken faith

Or trust God's in control
