Stern like a river I must go To the ocean Rough like a windstorm I must fade away Upon the Great Bear trail Down from the North to the South True love had spread its reign Between the Prince and the Rose It wasn't perfect love It didn't fill them up But then it lifted them Love on the lonesome planet cold The warmth was gone astray So many days ago When they fell out of the trail Close around their sun When frost sank those white teeth Into their tender hearts Revealed the pain beneath Their fragile masks of life He had a vision of their demise His faith urged him to stay alive He breathed so he knew he should go And seek their warmth Throughout their worlds For them both Oh! Sudden lightning from the stars Here he comes Inspiration for our hearts He goes down, down, down When he pines for the stars Through the skies he drills To the death-degree Now I understand How tough our Prince has turned out to be He goes where heat has called He can feel it in his guts Lit cinders from the far-off stars When he finally saw that land He felt it deep within Where his path led him up By itching on his skin Oh! Sudden lightning from the stars Here he comes Inspiration for our hearts The searing yellow sky Has given him guidance The poem of strength and youth Words of knowledge from above The eyes of the sky Where to find the heat? And how to apply it? How to ignite a star?
