V. The Void

I'm on my way to you

And I don't know how deep it goes

I believe the Abyss is bottomless

Maybe my belief in it is what makes it so

But I hope to find you

But I know the Void is deep

The Void is wide

The Void's always hungry

It speaks to me, and I always reply

This time it wasn't the same

It wasn't a whisper anymore

It used to tell me all the ways to make anything possible

Now it roars as it warns

"I'm gonna crush you

I will erase you from this earth

I'm gonna crush you

From darkness you came to me now to darkness you'll return

And you'll know the extent of my depth

You won't believe your eyes

At how dark bottomlessness is"

The roar turned to a whisper and it said

"I'm sorry, little lamb, but now's your time"
