We all too often complicate our biggest dreams and

Motivation slips away too soon

And I hear a lot of empty words about the risk of

Independence we should suffer through

And I think of everything that just came easy

And I notice all that I still haven't done

When a day can sometimes feel like only minutes

I would race around the earth to chase the sun

Maybe I forgot to mention that

Our problems are inventions of our own

We can take away convention and

Replace it with attention to our hearts

Sometimes I just wanna throw away the given road map

For a version of my own

No one gains a thing from duplicating someone else's journey

Searching for a home

So none of this was my idea, but I'd really like to see you

Taking on the world

With a passion and determination no one can pervert because

It's finally your turn

And the colors in the tattoos never faded

And our heads would never turn a shade of grey

And our spirit stays perpetually beautiful

And our memories would never fade away
