Gather photos to burn

I remember the turning

When it all came undone

Unmistakable yearning

Don't know what I've become

Every time I'm getting close to my nature

I stumble and feel like a failure

It's as though I have a switch that goes off

And my spirit's no longer the same

But I'm also just the kind to subscribe

To the promise of my own redemption

Open your eyes to the dragonfly rising

And signaling absolute change

Take this weight off my shoulders

I'll take solace in this

There'll be no more confusion

Won't be hiding the mess

Breaking things into pieces

So that I can move on

Obviously symbolic

Never living it down

Look around and you might witness

The world and its people are constantly changing

Try to leverage the amazing collection

Of miracles just within reach

There is nothing in the way of your greatness

So get up and push past the fear
