Here I am at three

The sandbox all set up for morning tea

And there I am pretending I'm a cat

And here's a shot of all of us

All but you

I know that you weren't there

And somehow I still see you ev'rywhere

In ev'ry picture standing by my side

Exactly as you must have looked

Did you do things, good things

All those years?

Could there still be part of you in me?

And now that I'm all grown

I guess that you have pictures of your own

A row of kids in fancy dress

And things I couldn't guess

When you see the faces I could never know
