The Gods have sung their songs
Dead Dunes keep us all

When the night rides in
Silence creeping
Desert lullabies
Forgotten with another time
Songs of harmony
Smiles and laughter
Those remembered
Softly kissing us good-bye
And so we're told
Of gems that light the soul
Convinced the other lands
Hold what we can't have
Squabbling
Till we find the truth
Digging through the sands while
Searching with our hands
For the treasure which lies
Beneath
Our feet
Brethren
Chaos reigning
All the lucky ones
Fighting to stay alive

Of the one who knows us all
Behind the lock and key
Lies, what we will be
Desperately
Trying to find the truth
