If the clouds are the dust from the Father's feet then He must be walking beside me
If these raindrops are His way of sending love my way then His showers are welcome indeed
It's been a long time since I've seen the sunshine, but I know that the darkness won't last
And if the clouds are the dust from The Father's feet, I'm content till the shadows have passed
In sunshine or shadow His love's still the same
Though the winds of change keep blowing
His presence remains
Though my eyes don't always see Him I'll walk with no fear
In sunshine or shadow my heart says He's near
If the wind is a whisper from the Father's voice, then He must be speaking to guide me
And if the thunder it scares me, He's there to prepare me then why should I tremble when it rolls
This kind of weather means I'm in his shelter and that's by far the safest refuge I know
If the wind is a whisper in the Father's voice I'll listen
As long as it blows
