Top of the Mountain

I have been to the top of the mountain

I've seen the promised land

And I have walked by the rivers of Jordan

With Jesus to lead my hand

The land was filled with honey

The soil was very good

The crops were overflowing

And then I understood

Have you been to the top of the mountain

Have you seen the promised land

Have you walked by the rivers of Jordan

With Jesus to lead your hand

It looks so very easy

To cross the borderline

It's just to cross the river

And that land it would be mine

My thoughts they really scare me

When giants did appear

How can I take this promised land

When I'm so easily scared

Have you been to the top of the mountain

Have you seen the promised land

Have you walked by the rivers of Jordan

With Jesus to lead your hand
