ART. interlude (Magic's Version)

Hi everyone

To those who do not know me

My name is Madz, papa Art's daughter in law

I am the wife of his second son, Elmer

First of all, I would like to thank everyone

Who helped papa Art with his long journey, with his health

We witnessed his pain going through all this

And the efforts of all our family and friends

Making sure he's okay

I also thank all of you who visited days before and after he passed

We feel all the love from all of you

The first time I saw papa Art was when I was young

I was seven or eight years old at the time

I knew he was one of the retired navy dads

That my dad hung out with

Little did I know

I will actually be part of his family in the future

I am lucky to have him as my father-in-law

He was the most loving, the most understanding, and the most chill dad I know

I thought dads are serious and unapproachable

But he changed my view on that

He was always happy, easy to get along with, funny, and so selfless

We will cherish all the moments we had with you papa art

From Baguio, to San Jose, to Calgary, and to San Diego

We will always remember all of your jokes

And all of your life lessons

From Madz, Elmer, Evan, and Skye

What's you're advice to the world?

Well

My advice is really, very practical

That the people of the world should come together

And live peacefully together

That's all my hope

That uh, everybody will come together

And live peacefully together

And happily
