Woke up late, missed the sunrise again,

Another day to pretend I’ve got a plan.

Scroll through dreams on a glowing screen,

Changing the world… or just a meme?

Time’s a river—sure, I’ll float along,

I’ll make a splash, or maybe not for long.

Life’s a gift they say, wrapped in clichés,

Guess I’ll open it some other day.

“Take a risk,” Oh yeah, that sounds profound,

But failure hurts, and the ground’s still the ground.
