Lyrics
[Verse 1]
If I were the devil, I’d steal sacred days,
Turn worship to profit in a world set ablaze.
I’d make Easter a bunny, hide the cross in its wake,
Replace Christ’s resurrection with candy and cake.
I’d dress up December, put Santa in His place,
Take “holy night” and sell it with glitter and lace.
Have you ever paused to wonder, or even explain,
Why the letters for Santa also spell Satan’s name?
[Chorus]
Oh, I’d flood their minds with endless noise,
Make empty pleasures their only choice.
I’d bury the truth beneath the lies they crave,
If I were the devil, I’d keep their hearts enslaved.
[Verse 2]
If I were the devil, I’d corrupt what they eat,
Turn God’s perfect food into poisonous deceit.
I’d call what He made unsafe or obscene,
While factories create what they claim is “clean.”
I’d trick the parents with lies well-designed,
To feed their children toxins disguised as kind.
I’d call it food, though it’s killing their health,
Defiling the temple where God chose to dwell.
The Spirit’s home, I’d twist and destroy,
With man-made poison they think they enjoy.
I’d push injections and call them the cure,
But death tolls had dropped long before, for sure.
I’d laugh as they trust the world’s disease,
While their temple of God crumbles with ease.
[Chorus]
Oh, I’d flood their minds with endless noise,
Make empty pleasures their only choice.
I’d bury the truth beneath the lies they crave,
If I were the devil, I’d keep their hearts enslaved.
[Verse 3]
I’d sell them the stars and a universe blind,
Convince them they’re gods, that truth’s in their mind.
I’d whisper, “Manifest it, the power is yours,”
While they close their hearts to the Lord who restores.
I’d point them to science, to knowledge and fame,
And mock those who call on the Savior’s name.
I’d turn their gadgets into idols of pride,
Keep them scrolling through darkness, too numb to decide.
[Pre-Chorus]
I’d rewrite their stories, corrupt what they know,
Erase the miracles God used to show.
[Chorus]
Oh, I’d flood their minds with endless noise,
Make empty pleasures their only choice.
I’d bury the truth beneath the lies they crave,
If I were the devil, I’d keep their hearts enslaved.
[Bridge]
I’d call truth intolerance, twist justice with hate,
Make sin a virtue, seal their fate.
I’d take the Word of God and tear it apart,
Turn myths into facts and call faith a farce.
I’d build up their idols, from sports to the stage,
Make their gods into humans they worship with rage.
I’d drown out the gospel, leave hearts in despair,
If I were the devil, they’d never know I was there.
[Outro]
But the truth still stands, and the light shines on,
Once you believe Christ defeated the grave; the devil’s reign is gone.
Turn back to the Savior; don’t believe the disguise,
For the King of Kings will open your eyes.
Stop wasting your time on the fleeting and fake,
Get off your phones, there’s a soul at stake.
Turn off the TV, let the movies fade,
Step outside where His wonders are displayed.
Start eating the foods that God designed,
To heal your temple, both body and mind.
Protect your kids from the poisons and lies,
Teach them the truth that never dies.
Pick up the Bible, let His Word fill your soul,
Pray without ceasing, let His Spirit take control.
The pleasures of today will soon disappear,
But eternity with Jesus is worth more than here.
The path is narrow, but the gate is true,
The Savior is calling—He’s waiting for you.

Romans 14:5–6
One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.
The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord.
The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God,
While the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God.
It’s fine to celebrate the holidays with family and love, but always keep your focus on Jesus Christ above.
