Let me start this by saying that you the one I need

I can't paint a perfect picture without etching you in the scene

It's been times that we've been through that you ain't get the best from me

But if it's room left in your heart maybe you save the rest for me

Maybe we roll til rest in peace maybe this be our destiny

I can't change me overnight but it's the effort that you need

It's progression that you need affection you need from me

But why it take for you to leave for me to finally get to see

Why it take for this tequila for emotions just to bleed

And why I'm soaking up this pillow chain smoking all this weed

I ain't never felt this way and this ain't comfortable for me

Like how I ran you through the mud and make you lose trust in me

I was supposed to set examples how a man was supposed to lead

Instead I act just like a bitch in situations that ain't me

And the mirror wouldn't back me in the mirror I ain't happy
