Look, I found you at my lowest, I needed someone who could listen, you made me feel noticed. And every thing you said you thought about ‘fore you spoke it, then all a sudden I started forgettin’ I was hopeless. You’d bear my burden on your shoulders when I couldn’t hold it, you shared your words, when I would go-nuts you kept me focused. You had me feelin’ some type of way with my emotions, and it wasn’t even ‘bout the way you stroked it, that was just a bonus. So now we were in motion, I showed you to my friends like “I think this one’s my chosen”. Till one of them said “lets go and meet her”, so I showed them, I never knew then how that would lead me to a heart broken.

I introduced ‘em, it’s sad but it’s true that I introduced ‘em. They started to talk, then started to laugh, I started to not feel included. They started to touch, then started to grab, I started to feel disillusioned, now I’m looking back, I didn’t know then but she had seduced him. Went home feeling so gruesome, had my heart filled up with hate, and my soul was deep in confusion when she didnt call the next day.
Now they both makin excuses as to why they both cannot hang, you win some and you lose some, guess that’s all apart of the game. And that explains why they say that love is rage, it takes everything yet doesn’t take away the pain. But either way I’m grateful for memories we made, was great while it went and there ain’t anything I’d change.
