Earth restored of life

Floods descend on a wasteland

Only flames can cleanse the hell we've made

All is lost

A mere reflection of earth silhouettes our home

I gaze in acceptance

Resist the numbing pain evoking hiraeth

Our light, it fades

To ascend or descend now no longer means anything

I fade away

Falling into the abyss realize the extent of the mess we made

It's not the end

Just another beginning as life moves without me
