Sun climbs the heaven's tongue

Cockerel-shaped lollipop

Everybody's at the fun fair

Ready to take off

Silver swing boats made of steel

Well-placed in a row

Reflections of their engines turning 'round

With nowhere to go

People kissing in the park

Beneath a paper moon

Everybody's got a secret

What if somebody knew?

Where there is a tiny spark

Of how things could be

Will soon be chased and buried with the spade

Of the world

Everything keeps spinning

The end has no beginning

The bottom is the ceiling

Everything's upside down

Sunbeams on the cheeks I kiss

You never know what you'll miss
