As I lay in bed after a long day, thinking how I need sleep

I end up scrolling on my phone as the hours past me

Whether it be TikTok or thumbing through IG

Or going through my photos seeing how much time has passed me

Remembering my highs and lows and friends I had that turned to foes

Things I've done that once were goals, and guys I met that once were ghost

Still i see them men as goats, inspired me in ways to grow

Told em I'll meet them on they level but I ain't been working how I suppose

I been putting work in but I ain't been working on my gifts

I'm still tryna find my purpose and I been struggling with that shit

I wish this life came with a map cause I be lost around this bitch

Im trusting God I know he with me in all position that I'm in

Up at 4 in the morning with my thoughts on repeat

Around this time I should be in the 4th stage of sleep

But lately I been taking melatonin to calm my serotonin

Cause if I don't, I'll be up all night zoning

I still don't get the best sleep

A lot of situations from my past that still stress me

Still keep me up at night the memories cut deep

You can be here today and gone tomorrow, trust me

I miss my cousin RC

And for that I don't get no sleep
