I don't always know how to help myself

Most days, I'm just trying to get by

One foot in front of the other,

Hoping no one notices how heavy it feels.

But for you?

I'd figure it out.

for you I'd push through the mess,

Through the hurdles that I can't seem to jump

Through the hardship that I give myself

Through the chaos inside my own mind,

Just to have you here.

Even when I can't fix myself,

Even when I feel like I'm breaking,

Even when I can't be there for me

I'll still show up for you

Because maybe I can't save me,

Maybe I can't make it all seem easy

Maybe I can't heal as I break

But I'll do everything I can to make sure

that you never feel alone.

And maybe that's enough for now

To feel empty, but still to be here

To feel lost, but to still find you

To feel no self love, but still love you.

Because out of everything I've fought for,

You're the one thing
