When you're up, you're up

and there's that surge of freedom

like on the last day of school, walking out those doors

that rush of emotion and life

and all you can think about are the possibilities of the moments before you

but we forget about the other side of that coin

why wouldn't the depths of the lows match the heights of the highs

but we don't ever really talk about that, do we?
