Sympathetic Scenery

I have found myself on the razor-sharp edge Of not, wanting to live but being too afraid to die Why do the sunniest days always seem to be The days when I could really use some sympathetic scenery Cuz it's storming in my heart right now My mind feels like a raincloud There are little bolts of lightning And my thoughts are thundering loud I know that the answers aren't at the end of the bottle And I know I may never be a perfect role model Been known to put my angels to the test Gonna wake up again tomorrow and do my best Everybody gets this way sometimes And everything still always works out fine What the hell's with second verses man? They never come as easily as the first ones seem to be Do hearts heal? Or do they just move on? Does anybody care about my shitty fuckin' songs? Is pain real? Or is it in our heads? And why does it all go away when someone's in my bed? Why do we die? Why do I cry Myself to sleep alone at night? Should I just laugh until daylight?
