5:30, the alarm clock rings too early

Didn't get much sleep, if I didn't need this job, I swear I'd quit

Rolled over, turned some music on

Been forever since I heard that song

And it perks me up and pops me outta bed

It's storming, and the sky is gray

Been pouring for the last three days

And I'm two and a half days over it

Out the window in the parking lot

It's a monsoon, and I see my boss

With that 100 dollar haircut soaking wet
