Endless Distance

Rifted, featureless in the afterglow

I threw my rivets

Through dreams unmeasurable

Passing virtues of dividing toll

My black holes from inequity

Carved right into my willing soul

I see upon your death

Aged heavens and searching depths

Throughout it all

You slumber in your swollen myth

In chains, surging black and thick

Like fetters joined in dismal woe

Bent down, all too deep

Never to explore outside your den

Never to dream nor even pretend

Bleak clouds shroud the roads to bliss

Bound to where nothing was so nothing is

Ah

Torrents of obstruction

Repelled

Tidal waves crushing

On the shores faith

Bred from the inner perturbation

Of a self-contemplating shadow

An inconsequential form

What's there?

Disharmonizing lies

Innate

Intrinsic, dark, sulphureous foam

I cross the universe to disown

Around your tired and feeble bones

Immaterial creator, I appear

My existence still insincere

Until I go the distance

Of devouring you for my existence
