Secular Thinking

His peace is my peace i know that

I've made a point to stay far back

Days turn to weeks without contact

Cuz you want this

And i'm used to it

You take my exile for weakness

Some form of silent complacence

Or must be some hellish allegiance

All i've wanted

Was your solace

I don't wanna die

It's just hard to be alive

This type of secular thinking

Don't pay it any attention

Can't have it sway your opinion

But i've doubted

For a while now

Maybe it's my fault for thinking

You'd teach a valuable lesson

I guess i've grown too dependent
