I work in this coffee shop This strangely spacious coffee shop in New York Morning to late afternoon And not many people like their job at my age But thank god it's not retail That'd be a different tune Yeah, I get it here I make it work for me I imagine I'm a superhero serving the community Yeah, I know it clear provide the cure and spill the tea With some regulars the boundaries blur like cheaper therapy It's a perfect place to get to know somebody Somebody before their first sip Creamy, sweet, bitter, black and brew A coffee order helps me to Understand a little more Another story to explore And we all can be complicated So, I keep it all caffeinated Hey Alex!
