Rootless Soul

A sinful life I live

And all these sins will carry me to my shallow grave

As I lay waiting for my end

Ghosts of the past come to haunt me

 Will I take this hell with me!

Or there will be salvation!?

As the dark falls, I am praying

To God to take me home

My life in this time is ending

In a new one I will reborn

Will I reach the holy glory?

Will I find the Promised Land?

Will I rest in peace eternal?

Or will I burn as it was planned?

Can my actions be forgiven?

Can I make dark become light?

The time has come to close my eyes

And let the day become night.

Here I stand between the shadow and the light

Will my renewal be decided by my past?

I break the silence and try not to cry

The endless night is straight on my path

There’s no place for me in heaven or in hell

I will regenerate in this lightless hole

In endless night I will roam for eternity

Accept my fate as a rootless soul
