Well, a few years back I was driving in, uh, Arizona outside of Flagstaff, and uh

My wife and I were on this camping trip

And we hit this uh, patch of rain and snow, this wintery mix

And we hydroplaned off this highway going about 70 miles an hour in the cold

Flipped and rolled three times

And we totaled this car, and we were

Truly lucky to walk away with our lives

And I could remember, people had stopped

They had seen us fly off the highway

And they had stopped their cars and they were running over

Sobbing, they were crying

'Cause they thought they had seen a fatal accident

And there we were, there we were

Posted up against this car on its side

Laughing and smoking cigarettes and bleeding

And that's a lot like the last two years for all of us I think

We've all been in this strange car accident together

Where one minute everything seems just fine and the next minute just like that

Everything shifted

And you're trying to figure out how to make it through and

Pick up the pieces and get over this trauma

And I could remember as that car was turning

It is just like the movies, everything starts to slow down, and you can

You can think a hundred thoughts inside of a second

And I just remember thinking over and over

"It's gonna be okay"

"We're gonna be alright"

"It's gonna be okay", over and over, and

There's a line in this next song that says

"I don't know where we are but it'll be okay"

And I think that's, that's in all of us, so here's to that
