Who am I to criticize a truth or lie?

Truth be told, I've been known to tell a lie or two at times

Tryna keep a promise when dishonest always loses

Like I'm moving on ahead without addressing what I threw behind

As I'm getting older, getting wiser, yet refuse to chime

In on who I am, what I've become is like a new design

Fear of change, the very thing that brings us to conclusions

Might be what we refute and substitute for a view that's blind

This the best I've felt, replacing selfishness with selflessness

Vibe with fact, fate with faith, make with take

Helplessness is in the past, brighter future, into that

Levitate, ain't meant to crash

In a state of peace, and I won't venture back

Invested in my self, that type of wealth ain't got no venture cap

If it's meant to be, then let it be, no need for mental laps

Then perhaps I'm ready for whatever, my umbrella hella Ella's, aye

Stay on my path, watch that weather pass
