By the violent ways

A snake ate the key

To the lock of my maze

Bird's eye garden scene

Exile from the keep

Fog flowing over

Rolling into valleys

The sound carries out

Over bodies of black water

Laid out like a constellation for you

To follow home

Babe cursed at birth

To watch it all wither away

Aimless on the waves

Linger on through an age

Take the blade and strike

Make it count, if you're able

One day they'll tell the tale

The sound will carry out

Through the forests

Little rivers like veins

For young ears to hear in time

That will only know me
