On My Own

I can stand on my own Can you do the same No matter your answer I'm done playing games And I like my lies with a side of blame 'Cause no one knows evil until it has a name And I can hide in my mind And smother the flames But coals will still glow At least that's what some claim But I don't believe in holding grudges too long 'Cause living in memories is just plain wrong When push comes to shove I tend to back off 'Cause I don't like violence 'cause what does that solve? When the days done The Earth still revolves With or without us so why fight at all?
