Woke up this afternoon I heard a distant call Out of the other room My head was spinning fast I dont know what ive had I dont know what ive lost Left my bed to its right Still in the aftermath Out of a reckless night My hand was reaching for Something to hold on to Down i went to the floor A love letter From the upsetter There was the call again Got up a second time How does it all make sense Went like a lovers song Taken out of a book Not written by a friend Flashback of broken glass Littering down a road Leading up to the tracks No thoughts in front of us You and me hand in hand I feel it coming back A love letter From the upsetter
