Lyrics

You your daddy's son, yo, first I hear the beat
I-I get- trap-a-holics mixtape
I'm a real big baller cause I-
Like a light show making big money like-
Up on the floor, dance-
I wanna live in that mansion, Playboy bunny what's happenin'
Look, If I call you bae-
Na-na na-na-na
Didn't even no-
Hahahaha, wow (oh I, oh I)
Yeah
Yeah, yeah, I am a menace, keep me a rack just like tennis, I'm with the shit like I'm dennis, I-
Doo-doo-doo-adooba
You know what The Matrix wants you to be, a they/them, emo, goth, transgender, fat-
We're lost, in a world of just fog and diminishment
Kind of madness here, isn't it
Oh, kind of, kind of
I-I've been sleeping a lot
Um, everybody out there that's watching, everybody that's watching this world
This world is bull-
You know the news is kinda like, this is the most divided this country has ever been
It's like, why, cause we tweet at each other
You know we had a war, right
I have, like, one more year of capitalism left in me, like, I wasn't built for this-
It's just one big active shooter drill
And then I went upstairs and cried
Just having my regular meltdown and realizing I'm never gonna escape capitalism
And I'm just gonna be a cog in the machine of productivity for my whole life, so-
People are so burnt out, life can be so fleeting
People that shut down their laptop at five, want that balance in life, they don't work for me, I can tell you that
These tablets and other anti-depressant medicines may increase suicidal thoughts or act-
I don't wanna start this bullshit
And I know some of y'all are gonna say it's not that deep, but a horse dragging a doll with a noose around its neck
Taken from her mother and put in a cage, (womp womp) I read about a-a-
Did you just say, 'womp womp', to a-
That awesome moment where you have to work a job that you hate so you can pay bills
Aaaaaaaahhhhh, fffuuuuuuccckkkk, whyyy
Any imagination that you possibly could have from the news, like, it's so much worse than they could possibly paint
Like, ya we all know this, but you realize it's getting worse, like, it's getting way worse
Pretend like everything's ok, but it's not, because people are dying
And, like, I watched my country burn, I deadass watched my country-
When I was ten years old a man on the internet told me I had pornstar tits
Where, if you work five years for a company, you'll get an extra week off
And displaying the rainbow flag on their churches, shame on such leaders
Put their own safety on the line everyday to show the world who they truly are (thank you)
I along with millions of others are fighting for their right to exist (thank you, thank you, thank you)
And if you do- if you care about the safety- (thank you, thank you)
Uh, his suicide as a- an example of what people should be doing
And people should be violently ripping themselves, uh, apart from the ideology
You know, when he confronts his boss and then starts to beat himself
If-if if I made four hundred grand a year, I would be embarrassed
I'm tired, I'm depressed, I'm tired-
That the most important and most successful job we can have, especially as women and feminine presenting people, it to be beautiful, to be-
How do you not internalize that-
Thirty-four percent of five year old girls engage in deliberate dietary restraint-
When we used to run our webcam studio, we know how sad men are because we saw it first hand
Had to coach admins on talking dudes out of killing themselves
It's gonna set you back, like, the price of a condo
We need to see pain in the economy, we need to remind people that they work for the employer, not the other way around
All these pretty buildings right, well guess what, they're all empty
-our voice, and don't let the evil regime kill innocent people
That we cannot even escape them in our sleep
I hate this layout, it's not efficient, it's shitty, I hate it
I'm not liberal, now, I'm a leftist (you're, you're a leftist)
I'm a leftist (what's the difference)
I'm critical, you heard
Combined wealth of the world's eighty five richest people is equal to the three and a half billion poorest people
It's fantastic, and this is a great thing because it-
You're being, you're being preyed on, you understand, you're, you're a young child
You're being preyed on by these guys who are trying to use you to spread their hateful message
And look how well- look how well it's working
I posted a TikTok about how the myth of believing that you're a good person can get in the way of actually being one
We're evolving as a culture
You're a victim
Here we go, CSI
It's not a badge of honour to be well adjusted to a sick society
Suddenly the will to die is slightly digestable
Um, and I've been getting like this really eerie sense of peace and-
When you're about to die, all of a sudden, you'll start believing
Be a real human being right now for once, bro (player underscore wangers donated-)
(Going back to The Matrix)
The world is gone and I don't care
You know there's no going back
The world is going
(Going back to The Matrix)
The world is dead and I don't care
You know there's no going back
The world is dying
(Going back to The Matrix)
And everybody, everybody, everybody dies, you know there's no going back
And everybody, everybody, everybody leaves, you know there's no going back
And everybody, everybody, everybody dies, now my vision fades to black
The world's collapsing, I've never been better
Pretend it's all fine you become a trendsetter
Commit suicide, ya, I'll murder whoever
You're strapped to the tracks and I'm pulling that lever
My feet don't need shoes cause my dorsals have feathers
I'm an angel now, my spirit ain't tethered
You really thought this was a rainforest
Forty more years in the desert (uh)
Before this whole city had turned to dust
Moses had seen better weather (ya)
Insert a line that would rhyme with whatever
Got F's on my papers, won't ever use effort
Man, never say never, the planet is ending so we can finally say never
Tomorrow the world will end for me, I got concrete on my feet
(Going back to The Matrix)
I am talking to you, you just asked me a question, and now you're speaking to him
If you saw my hourly usage, you'd understand why I am the way that I am
Please like the video and subscribe, I want you to subscribe so bad, dude, I want you so subscribe, I want you to subscribe so bad, heh
I'm s- I'm so grateful to have you guys around watching my videos, my name is Glidget Ronan, and thank you so much for watching
Who was that you were just talking to
On about doctors, you wonder
I know I'm a goner
And I don't need someone to talk to
I just need someone to talk to (ya)
My two best friends text me individually
Our trio groupchat is just me sending memes
We'd swore we'd take over the world together
I'm learning that friends don't last forever
Say that girl's nothing more than an influencer like a doctor diagnosing hysteria
Speak with no filters and barriers, should've cried more at my grandmother's burial
And the world is gone and I don't care, you know there's no going back
The world is dead and I don't care, you know there's no going back
The world is dying
(Going back to The Matrix)
(Mark, give me the zucc
I'm-
You can follow up and tell me what that means and I'll
I'll, I'll try to- try my best to do it for you)
(Going back to The Matrix)
I'm twenty-two and the world becomes uninhabitable by twenty forty-five so this is my midlife crisis
Bad at my job but still employed like a Nazi scientist after World War Two, they-
-crazy to me that more working class people don't literally kill themselves, because, like, I wanna kill myself and I'm hanging on for dear life to every bit of privilege I have, relying on my parents and my uncle because I'm so scared of, like, being a real adult and entering the adult working world because it's so miserable, you work everyday until you die, what's the fucking point
Like it's class warfare, it's purposeful psychological warfare that we have to deal with these distractions and rise up
If you're up at five AM, and you're tossing and turning and you can't sleep, look out the window and if you see those old ladies doing their morning walks and their arm exercises or whatever, the way they spread their arms out while they walk, they actually look so beautiful and peaceful on a brisk morning
I know you're gonna say I'm corny as fuck, but like love is on the left, love is the most radical leftist ideal-
And even though having a job makes me miserable and want to kill myself, I'm still so greatful for my job, but if my co-workers see me jump off the Granville Bridge, this is me giving you permission not to call the coast guard
People in this province are requesting longer prison sentences because they know they will be homeless when they get out
Life under capitalism isn't even real life, I'm just pre-dead
Today it was cool in the morning and I was delighted when I shivered, it was that first morning of fall shivers, I was like, yes
I'm the type of person who breaks shit when I get angry, like, I'll smash my phone, I have no ability to control my emotions, I've broken my phone, begged my parents for a new one, and then when my poems got deleted with no backup, long story, I was smashing shit around the room, I've broken my computer multiple times
The world we operate in is a reflection
And we must stare in that mirror and reflect
And if our reflection is wrong, there's still safety
Nothing is permanent, this mirror is like a soul without a body
Does anyone else get intrusive thoughts about their parents dying
I get intense anxiety over my heartbeat if I've been awake to long or if I exert myself I can feel my heartbeat vividly, and it feels like it's maybe off, or it's just in my head, and it's so scary to me, and I'm like holy shit, I'm gonna die
I'm never writing another lyric that speaks bad of my parents ever again
No matter how closely I listened I never heard a word they really said
They say there's a new beginning in every end
I miss you so much, you were my first best friend
It's time for me to die, I need to hit reset
I wonder how many moments pass between the initial pain and death
Let the intrusive thoughts win
I feel the frowns when I turn around
I feel it in my chest
And I blame it on the world, like I always do
And to think if that table would've fell a few more inches to the left then I would've died when I was two
Um
And I hate how Twitter, or X, I guess, makes us read backwards, when you see a twitter screenshot you have to read down to up
Suicide to speedrun through the simulacrum, so I kill myself and I'm gonna wake up in a new reality then I have to keep doing it until I finally hit base reality, but then how will I know which death is gonna be final, you know what I'm saying
I've been frowning all my life so when The Great Filter arrives you'll see me don a smile, you kn-
You know it's a good walk when a security guard comes to say you shouldn't be there anymore, like you wanna look at a nice view past a little fence and a security guard is like fuck off, that's how you know it's been a good walk
And the lyrics on this album are wack, like, I've been having a hard time with the music shit, the flows are bad too, honestly, I have better poems that I've performed at poetry slams that I'm gonna use on the next album
There's this guy Gary from the poetry slams and apparently I made him cry, he was like shouting at the end of one of my poems, like, lemme see the afro kid, and I was already sitting down, but I wish I had gone up to meet him, cause the restaurant staff and the people who run the poetry were kinda like, oh, don't cause a disturbance, and he left, but fuck- that- shit- cause- a disturbance, I wish- I had greeted him, someone afterwards was telling me that he said my poem about being distant from your family made him cry, and, like, who else can say that they made Gary cry, like, you might win a slam, but have you made Gary cry, come on-
I was having heartbeat anxiety, like, super intense one night, and I was convinced my heartbeat was not working right, and it felt so fragile and I was like I'm definitely gonna die, and it made me more content with the idea of death
The world we operate in-
You know what I'm saying, like
I don't know what you're saying
You know, help, Jamie, Jamie can you pull up some help
