I’m looking good through that long stemmed glass of wine, sitting across from you, at your table

You’re hearing all the right words and I’m trying hard, not to make promises I’m unable…to keep

So try not to dig too deep

Some like me better when I’m on my best behavior

I’ve been accused of taking a heart but I’ve healed a few more
