What the Hell Have We Done

On top of the hill

I look at the sea

I can hardly believe my eyes

Where is the shore

There used to be

What of the woods where I used to hide

They are all gone

They disappeared

Underwater now they lie

The rise of the seas

Swallowed it up

This is a nasty surprise

What the hell have we done

To our home

We've tampered with nature

Polluted the globe

Why did we not listen

When we were told

It is of human nature

You lose and then you want

As fast as I can

Indignation fills my mind

Ignorance and disrespect

Have been the biggest features of our kind

So I give a piercing scream

Crying out for the nature's fate

Can you hear what I say

You'd better if you wanna save what is left
