And I know it's been a minute,

Forgive me been busy living

I’m traveling more, getting lit, chillin’,

And stretching out like the 7th inning, wassup…

Learning to take life more for what it is

People expecting more than what I can give

But damn, I swear this shit is harder than it seems,

And honestly, it costs more than a dollar and a dream…

You end up giving more than expected to be able to succeed, wassup…

Shit wasn't easy leaving everythang back home,

Locally known but really felt like I plateaued

Constantly debating, if I should pack my shit and go

Cause I was only getting better with more room to grow, wassup…

The number’s still the same, and still got my Cali i.d.

Been striving in NYC, but it's still “West Side” til i “D.I.E.”

And I know you see me making moves,

Cause I ain't gotta say shit, just upload pics on your feed to proves it, wassup…

I’m staying afloat, still humble, while some of y’all doing the most

You clowns are a joke, no wonder why you frontin' on ya posts

I hope eventually that you'll get exposed, but wassup…

I’m from a broken home, refugee parents,

Street violence and sacrifices…

How are you different from me?

We grew up from the same hood, same schools, but you ain’t co-signing me

So if I’ve changed, then I’ve changed for the better,

But really I’m good, ain’t got no time for resentment

Always kept my faith and still doing it independent,

Grown a lot throughout the years,
