Lyrics

It starts off simple, a feeling that you’ve known,
But it gets harder, and your insides start to groan.
And it’s not easy, battling against yourself.
You find yourself wishing that you were anybody, anybody else.
So you flip the script, turn the page, try again.
Get up tomorrow, maybe you'll feel different then.
The days are long, get some rest, go to bed.
Try to ignore the voices in your head.
It does get better, at least it does with time.
But it doesn’t disappear, it's a burden that’s still mine.
So if you feel like this, don’t get stuck in dismay.
Just think of tomorrow, cause tomorrow is another day.
Flip the script, turn the page, try again.
Get up tomorrow, maybe you'll feel different then.
The days are long, get some rest, go to bed.
Try to ignore the voices in your head.
So it’s back to simple, a feeling that you know.
And it’s no cakewalk, but there’s nowhere else to go.
But you’re not alone, others have been there too.
So if you get there, there’s something you should do.
Flip the script, turn the page, try again.
Get up tomorrow, maybe you'll feel different then.
The days are long, get some rest, go to bed.
Try to ignore the voices in your head.
