I'm caught in the middle

Of the life I lead and the one I need

Caught in the middle

And the waves are crashing over me

There's so many questions

All the answers come in shades of grey

I'm tired of suggestions

I'm longing for a lighter way

Can You bring some clarity to all the uncertains

Can You lift me up cause I'm down

And I feel like I'm drowning

I can't breathe

Will You save me

I know what I should do

It seems so logical and so simplified

Know who I should be

But I turn the narrow path too wide

The urgency pulls me

Yet I'm paralyzed by pride and fear

I'm called to go further

But it's easier to stay here

And I try to pretend

That I'm in control

But my plans fail me

And Yours avail me
