Beyond statistically
How can I smile today?
Why should I celebrate
Unconstructively
Undo empires we built
They're dancing on my screens
They're drinking to their kings
The money it still reigns while they're laughing in our faces
Separate from the seasons
I was seasoned and so primed to fail
How can I celebrate when your cell is my fate?
Yet I still smile today
They all assimilate, selfishly mutate
I'm held down in scriptures that they made
There's a word for this but I lost it with my ignorance
