Ta Dat Tat

I locked myself in mental cave

Threw my emotions into a grave

Nobody cares so should I even bother?

Me and despair: one will destroy the other

I don’t want to be the last one standing

Life is what we always take for granted

Now this tragedy’s my remedy

And I say misery loves company

I always learn the hardest way

Through self-destruction and decay

I medicate to stop hearing the voices

I suffocate cause they don’t give me choices

As the pills go down they slowly get me higher

Drag me from the bottom through the fire

I convince myself that everything is fine

My misery’s my therapy

Desperate times require desperate measures

I will always be your guilty pleasure

Now this suffering goes to an end

As I call misery my company

Hospital stay

Blue turns to grey

We can’t fix the fate or weather

Before the dawn

Shadows all gone

And I’m left alone
