I’ll still, climb the ladder now

I fell down and lost myself somehow

But I don’t care if they go and tie my shoelaces together

I’m good at persevering through the cold and stormy weather

Keep going through the pain and shame the endless helter skelter

Melted brains and acid rain won’t stop us from finding a shelter

It rained on my ice cream sundae

On blue monday my new order of clothes

Arrived from the postal department

My new garments

Were riddled with holes

I really try sometimes

To find a peace of mind

But I can’t seem to find

Sanity within me

I try to look outside

It’s looking bleak so I

Draw curtains close up blinds

Then I sleep, for a week

But when I feel well rested I’ll invest in recovery

And I know that I’ll accept some help from friends who’ve got love for me

And I’ll let them know that
