Never Enough

Look, God comes first No other can define what I'm worth I be trying to move forward to provide on this Earth For my people cause everybody's pride got em cursed When you're selfish and you fall you getting what you deserve Don't complain We all been through hell and felt trapped, held back But you still gotta grow and make laps Stay on track, life's short are we able to face facts That love is much greater then aiming to make racks When the sunshine rise I know it's my time To contribute to the world or be caught in my mind We focus on things that just keep us all blind We ain't feel no shame cause we're living our lives So free Material living, dollar signs Got our eyes focusing on the prize instead of trying To keep eachother safe, by feeding our humankind When you see em on the corner it's easy to drive by Ask why Why don't we care? Why don't we trust? Why are we so afraid? Where is the love? It's like our whole life goes down the drain Cause we never wanna wake up In this world where there's so much to gain But it's never enough We are so cold So indifferent to the pain that our souls hold As long as we getting paid everything goes Society made us aim for the same goals Everybody wants the range rove Switching lanes rolling in the bank roll Acting like I ain't know it's painful For many of our brothers and our sisters in the same globe 5 Minutes away you'll find a child with the same clothes He ain't got no other cause he all alone His momma slowly dying but you'll never know Cause you been occupied with your cell phone Stuck in a fantasy you see we dead wrong We ain't got nothing to stress bout This is the why so many getting left out And no to hand to help em they just staying on the death route You gon send em prayers many prayers well they dead now God gave us life for a reason that's why I just shout Why Why don't we care Why don't we trust The world is our family I think we've seen enough Of everyone who's suffering We need to rise above The selfish cold mentality And start sharing the love
