When I look into the morning sky

A teardrop forms in my eye

When I look into the face of a child

The teardrop falls from my eye

And if there weren't so many

Unwanted children in the world today

Then maybe I could understand your view

But as long as there's so many

Children without a happy home

Then leave my choices alone

If I don't want this life

Then why should you

A life without love is something

An innocent child shouldn't be put through

When I look into the midnight sky

I see the sins of those we're taught to respect

And when I look into the face of a child

I see the pain from their neglect

There are those who call it murder

And say that it is a sin

But I still can't understand your view

Please respect that it's

My life, my mind and my body

And leave my choices alone

Forcing me by law to follow suit
