It's 3am Again

It's 3 a.m. again

You know, I can't help but wonder

That when you sleep tonight, what would you dream

If you could dream any dream you wanted to?

Would you run a thousand miles away from yourself?

'Cause I sometimes think I would

Or in a second life, see what it is like to start over?

Or would you be exactly where you are

'Cause you're content with your here and your now?

But then I wonder, what about life is so different

But in the dark, make a dream of it?

Um, I don't wanna make a blueprint of it

That's much the same as yours and theirs

And their brother's and their mother's

I'd rather have a blank canvas and keep painting nose

Then I'd have no color resemble me, I'd just paint the future

I'd rather dream with my eyes open than sleep while I'm awake
