Memory Lane

Another day around the sun

Another 24 to come

And so it goes again

I watch the passing time

Ever wonder what it means?

Why we're doing anything?

Where it leads

Yeah so do I

Empty faces on a screen

All the ones I used to see

They don't know me but they love to judge my life

While they can't get past their prime

They look for mine

Well they said...

Let's take a trip down memory lane

And I said that "I'm sorry I don't really want to"

I never had a problem with that old address

But I moved away for good

Oh after all this time, I hear them say

"Aren't you worried that your better days are all behind you?"

But I think they just care more than I could

If the season never changed

If the reason never came

Not for nothing but it wouldn't phase my mind

The ticket price was worth the ride

And so it's fine when they said...
