Deadly Sin

I am watching you day by day, and can’t get out of my skin

It takes my breath away, I fall victim to a deadly sin

Why can’t yours be mine? Til the end of time?

What makes it so difficult to rid myself from envy

I should be satisfied in any case, I have all that I need

And should not make comparisons, it makes no sense, still I would repeat

Another phenomenon, that supports to the failure of culture

Aristotle defined it, as the pain of the sight of another’s good fortune

I can’t get myself to keep from falling. I can’t help myself to save from drowning

Why can’t yours be mine? Til the end of time? Impossible to rid myself from envy

Are we all prisoners? All of us? No place to hide
