Closed eyes not tired, mind's racing again

Wish I could fall asleep and just awake when this ends

There's only so much I can really try explain with a pen

Got me thinking did I ever really say what I meant?

See my thoughts have always tested, how many can relate?

The doubters and the worriers, the minds that carry weight

You mastered the disguise and put a smile up on your face

A stiffened upper lip, and you just go about your day

You've seen the struggle in my eyes, you've seen it from the start

You've seen it take control and get released up in my art
