When I was younger

There are things in life that I would come to understand

I took for granted

Every opportunity at my command

My mind is stronger

Than it’s ever been before and now I see the light

I can’t imagine

Life without a chance for me to make it right

Day and night

We’re challenging time to obey

Insisting that we get just one more day

Just to say what we’ve learned along the way
