One scenario for solving our problem
Is a mass migration into the past
We could literally dump this whole scene
And go 100 million years into the past of the planet
And set up there, and set up there
In a confined zone
If it were only 10,000-years deep
It would never show in any fossil record
If we held ourselves to a 10,000-year wide window
That's such a brief period of time

That we would basically just appear to have disappeared
